Alberta Saskatchewan Intertie Storage (ASISt)
The Alberta Saskatchewan Intertie Storage (ASISt) project is an innovative power project that will use a unique configuration of proven air compression and turbine technologies to build the first compressed air energy storage (CAES) plant in Canada. The facility will be located near Lloydminster, Alberta and it is anticipated that the CAES facility will have 135MW-160MW of generation capacity.
